Forever Silent
By Ms. Lonely
(my other pen name)
As the grass sways
and blossoms sprout,
We part our ways and
give about.
How I miss those days
while we shout.
You are a memory I’ll
never forget,
Those childhood days
I’ll never regret
And how our eyes
sparkled the day we met.
That bashful boy that
makes my heart race,
Those cheeky smiles plastered
in our face,
When we played tag in
that special place.
The wind got through
and blew us apart,
I still memorize your
face like art,
It’s a masterpiece forever
etched in my heart.
The day came we saw
each other again
We both get
tongue-tied and a little frightened,
And let the moment
made us forever silent.
This is one of the poems I made last year. I only had time to post it awhile ago.
